SPRING SHOW

April 6, 2025

Entries between 9 and 10.25am. Show Opens at 2.30pm with Prize Giving at 3.30pm. Lots of tea and cake available.

Please find attached the Schedule for our Spring Show which will be taking place in Ash Village Hall on SUNDAY 6th April (not on a Saturday as we normally do).  You will find all the information you need to enter and the timings for bringing your entries to the hall on the morning of the show.  Also, instructions on how to register your show entries can be found on the bottom of page 3 of the Schedule.

There is a great selection of classes you can enter for all things floral, including pot plants, flower arrangements, not to mention the long list of daffodils and other spring flowers.  if you are unsure of what class of daffodil you are entering, you can find a comprehensive list of types of daffodil on page 4 of the schedule with diagrams and definitions.  For the cooks amongst you, there is a really good choice of foods for you to show your culinary expertise!

Don’t forget that flower arranging, cookery, photography, the Exhibit – No. 46 and Children’s Classes are all Open Classes which means you don’t have to be a member to take part.  Get your family and friends to get involved as well.  Hopefully, your children and grandchildren will have fun with the Children’s Classes.  Who doesn’t love growing cress!

If you are unable to print off a copy of the Schedule, there will be a few copies available at the next Hort Soc Meeting on March 27th as well as a few on the Hort Soc notice board in the Village Hall – opposite the kitchen.

Please try to enter something, even just one or two classes and let’s try to make the hall look colourful and wonderful!  Truly Spring-like!
